First Snow Drives Demand for Crab Trips
Snow Brings to Mind the King of Winter Delicacies: Crab
Though recent winters have been unusually mild, a cold wave has finally arrived, bringing the first light snowfall of the season to Miyazu City in Kyoto Prefecture, where Rurinohama is located.
As snow news has been making headlines across the country, we have seen an increase in reservations for our Crab Marche Plan, which highlights our high-quality crab.
It seems that snow naturally evokes thoughts of crab, the ultimate winter delicacy. For those living in the Kansai region, a snowy landscape often conjures up images of succulent, flavorful crab meat.
A Gathering of Brand-Name Live Crabs! 【Crab Marché】
Just a 1-minute walk from Rurinohama, the Crab Marché (also known as the Rurinohama Activity Center) features an impressive setup with three gigantic tanks, each measuring approximately 2 meters by 1.5 meters!
Inside these tanks, you'll find crabs with tags signifying their premium brands, in a range of colors including green, pink, white, blue, and light green. These crabs have been sourced from renowned ports along the San'in Coast.
The tanks are meticulously maintained to ensure freshness, with the crabs kept alive until just before consumption, showcasing the unique flavor of live crabs. Thanks to our exclusive supply routes, we offer these high-quality crabs at reasonable prices, even amidst the current surge in crab prices.
Highly Popular! Winter Crab Marche Plan Available Until March 20
The Crab Marche Plan allows you to enjoy one live crab per adult. We prepare these crabs for you in a ready-to-eat state, having been kept alive until just before serving. You can savor them however you like—whether as crab sashimi, grilled crab, crab shabu-shabu, or crab hotpot.
Unlike other places that offer brand-name live crabs with more restrictive preparation and portioning, our plan provides you with exceptional freedom and value.
Our Crab Marche Plan, featuring high-quality crabs, is popular for its flexibility and affordability.
Don’t miss out—this plan is available until March 20! It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the last of the season’s crab.
